Co-Founder

Engineer, innovator, and regenerative kelp farmer — Rob turned a decade at Monash into a bold new path with n0de.

Rob Brimblecombe

Rob Brimblecombe is a co-founder and director at n0de, with a career spanning research, energy leadership, and entrepreneurship. At Monash University, Rob led the award-winning Net Zero Initiative, overseeing $200m in climate financing, large-scale renewable energy projects, and Australia’s first Passive House Net Zero buildings. He also secured transformative partnerships, from digital energy platforms to long-term renewable supply, delivering tens of millions in savings and new revenue for the university. Rob has lectured in building science and renewable energy, co-authored Positive Energy Homes, and published widely on sustainable systems. With a PhD in bio-inspired solar hydrogen and a Fulbright Fellowship at Princeton under his belt, Rob pairs deep technical expertise with an entrepreneurial edge — also co-founding Southern Sea Greens, a pioneering regenerative kelp farming venture.

Scott Ferraro

Before co-founding n0de, Scott spent more than a decade shaping climate strategy across Australia. He co-led the landmark Pathways to Deep Decarbonisation in 2050 initiative at ClimateWorks Australia, translating Net Zero strategies for governments and major corporates alike. At Monash University, Scott led the $135m Net Zero Initiative, bringing together research, industry, and education — and delivering innovations like the Monash Microgrid and the Monash–Engie Net Zero Solutions Alliance. Beyond n0de, Scott has played a leading role in the energy transition as a board member of the Energy Efficiency Council, co-founder of the Electric Vehicle Council, and Chair of the Surf Coast Renewable Energy Taskforce. With qualifications in environmental engineering and corporate sustainability management, Scott brings both technical expertise and real-world experience to help businesses take action with clarity and confidence.

Designer, systems thinker, and hula-hoop artist — shaping tools, stories, and experiences for climate action.

Jess Knollmeyer

Jess leads product, brand, and experience design at n0de, working at the intersection of climate action, storytelling, and user experience. With a background spanning product strategy, visual systems, and operational design, Jess builds tools and services that help businesses make confident progress toward Net Zero. Outside n0de, Jess is also known as Jessihoopz — a multi-hoop performance artist and workshop facilitator who brings movement, light, and story to life on stage. Whether designing a product interface, a community engagement process, or a moment of shared awe, Jess’s work is united by a drive to create connection and impact — designing for the future we want to live in.
